Important Freight Information
Your doors will arrive flat packed in 3 components, the frame, the doors and the hardware. Our doors will require assembly onsite and instructions will be provided. Surface finishes and parts which are damaged caused by construction onsite after delivery are excluded from any returns or replacements. We do not provide reveals or architraves as the finished look of your opening is up to you. The doors can be configured to the left or the right as they are a universal door system.
If the doors are an odd number ie: a 3 or 5 panel, all doors will open to one side including the main exit door however if the doors are an even number ie a 4 or 6 panel setup the main exit door will be hung on the frame and the remaining doors will open in the opposite direction. Our doors open to the outside not obstructing your indoor space, all of our doors and servery windows are bottom hung. The opening for the doors must be prepared by your builder, handyman, carpenter or yourself
Warranty: For your peace of mind, warranty against defects arising from faulty workmanship or materials for a period of 24 months from the invoice date of the goods, (not transferable if removed and re-sold) subject to the following conditions: The product has been installed in accordance with the manual provided: The product has been correctly maintained and lubricated at least every 6 months depending on conditions. The product has not been subject to misuse, physical abuse or neglect. Manufacturing standards, marks, tolerances are not deemed defects, nor are industry variations in the colour and finnish. Affordable Folding Doors assumes no liability for damage caused by cleaning solvents or brick cleaning acids. This Warranty is limited to the replacement of the faulty product item at the company’s discretion but does not extend to the installation or refinishing of a replacement product. No liability is accepted by Affordable Folding Doors or trust companies for personal injury, loss or claim or property damage, installation costs, material or other costs (whether special, consequential or otherwise) howsoever caused or arising whether direct or indirect. Claims under this Warranty should be made within one month of the defect arising in the product. Copies of documentation showing the purchase date of the product should be included with your written claim and forwarded firstname.lastname@example.org Warranty does not cover installation or damage caused by poor installation. Damaged parts damaged during installation will be charged for accordingly. As we custom make doors to your size, all tracks and all alloy is cut to size of the order, therefore we cannot give refunds on this product as it is made custom to size. Our door panels are made using rubber seals between the glass and alloy, this enables quick and easy glass replacement of the doors without having to replace the entire panel. Using rubber seals enables the door to move in and out of square while in use, this is normal and does not affect the operation of the doors providing they have been installed correctly. We are not liable for any such claims against us if we are out of stock or for any delays in manufacturing or freight delivery.

Very rarely there is freight damage, however we cannot control unforseen damage via freight transport.
Any damage during transport must be noted before the delivery Driver has left your site & BEFORE you Sign for delivery.
Freight delivery’s may take up to 7 working days to reach your destination, please allow this time for delivery, most delivery’s do take around 2-5 days.
Any Damaged items will be replaced as soon as we are notified and approved by our carrier as damaged in transit, however this can only happen if the driver is notified of the damage. If you sign the delivery paperwork you are agreeing that the goods have been delivered in perfect condition.

Your claim must be sent to us in writing with images of attached damage the same day as your product arriving to your location, the delivery driver must also have had been shown the damage & delivery paperwork noted of the damage. Max Track length by Courier is approx 3000mm, any larger tracks are supplied in multiple sections.
Any Damage reported after this time will be charged for accordingly for the replacement item and freight charge.
Someone Must be there when the product is being delivered, you can contact Mainfreight to arrange a delivery while no one is at the delivery address, however this will void any damage claims and will occur a $100 charge for tailgate delivery by the driver and must be arranged at least a day before drop off.
Once you sign for your goods from mainfreight, you accept the condition your freight product has been received in, any damage after the date of delivery is charged for.
If Mainfeight cannot contact you within 7 days of arrival in your area, your goods may be returned back to us, freight will be charged again to be sent back out plus the return costs back to us.
